Not only is this a great time to travel while the best camping sites are available, but it just became the cheapest time to do it! We're offering 25% OFF our rates. Just book with us for travel before February 28th.
* We do have some prime Holiday weekends that book up quickly, so discounts cannot be applied during the following dates 12/22-12/26/2018 and 12/30-1/2/18. Sorry, we can't apply this special rate to pre-existing reservations.
Let us know which one you are interested in, or give us a call and we'll help you decide!
Our rates are very affordable, and we discount aggressively over time to enable you to take those awesome longer trips! Other teardrop trailer rentals are not in the same league: our trailers are standing height, have air conditioning and heat, kitchens with sinks and fridges, cooking and dining gear, sheets and towels, and are fully outfitted for a fabulous experience: just bring your favorite pillow and blanket, and food!
Looking to make your camping more fun and comfortable but don't want to buy camping gear you rarely use? We offer additional "add-on" items, like a tent that attaches to the side of the teardrop, a generator, even a "living room" setup!
We are continuously adding articles to help you discover the joy of teardrop trailers, whats required to tow them, how to use their systems, awesome camping destinations, and our favorite recipes! Also, we invite our guests to submit stories about their adventures! SHOW ALL
Trailer pick-up and return times are by appointment only. Much like a hotel check-in/out, we do not offer morning pickups or late afternoon returns. We schedule trailer returns in the morning and pickups in the afternoons, allowing several hours in between to clean and prepare a trailer for the next guest.
We can occasionally make exceptions depending on what our guest reservation calendar looks like, and with advance arrangements. Much like a hotel, if you want to pick up a trailer in the early morning, or return in the evening, we will need to charge for an additional night of rental.
To make sure your teardrop is delivered in wonderful condition, all rentals have a one-time cleaning fee. That fee is $60 for the trailers that have a wetbath (Topanga, Outback, Sofitel, and Bixby), and $40 for the trailers that do not have a wetbath (Escape and Nomad). This covers our time and expenses for interior & exterior cleaning, laundering of sheets and towels, and replenishing of consumable goodies (paper products, coffee/tea, etc). We ask our guests not to wash the outside of the trailer. We would prefer to do it ourselves. Weird, huh? Don’t worry, we know you’ve been camping and dirt may have been involved.
Before you return the trailer, please wash the dishes and any other of the cooking/serving tools in the galley. Also remember to dump the gray and black water tanks, as we do not have dump facilities. Other than that, we will take care of cleaning everything else in the trailer.
Just in case the unthinkable occurs, we are required to hold a $500 credit card preauthorization as a damage deposit. We manage this much like a hotel does when you check in to cover incidental charges. A preauthorization is not a charge to the credit card, but can result in one. It will remain active for as long as you have the trailer, and will be automatically released if the trailer and other rented items are returned reasonably clean with empty waste tanks, on time, and there is no damage or abuse.
